Born and raised in Kuwait, Lama and her family moved to Toronto in 1990 where she would earn an honours bachelor degree in Psychology from the University of Toronto, and a post-graduate diploma in Journalism from Humber College.
Before joining 'A' News as a Video Journalist in Windsor, Lama spent several years reporting for CTV in Sudbury and as an Anchor/Video Journalist with CTV in Regina.
