'A' Morning Remote Host
Bevin Palmateer was born in Toronto and graduated from the Television Arts Program at H.B.Beal Secondary School in London, in 1982. Bevin started working part-time in 1981 at CKSL Radio and then came to CFPL-TV to do sports part-time. That blossomed into a full-time job in 1985.

Awards:
In 1988, Bevin and cameraman Doug McGladdery co-produced 'The Perfect Gift', which won the Dave Rogers Award from the Radio-Television News Directors Association of Canada for best feature reporting.
Extracurricular:
In 1998, Bevin acted as Media Representative and Advance Contact for Jesse's Journey, A Father's Tribute. A supporter of the arts at both the summer stock and professional level, Bevin lends his name to various charity events. Bevin is an avid golfer with a six handicap. He enjoys motor sports, playing pickup hockey, and he has taken a crack at skydiving.
