Janice Zolf

Janice Zolf was born in Edmonton, Alberta. She completed her first year B.A. at the University of Alberta and earned an honours degree in English Literature at the University of Western Ontario as well as Marketing Communications at the IVEY business school.

For seven years Janice held broadcasting positions with both CFPL Radio and CJBK Radio before joining the staff of CFPL-TV as a reporter in 1986. Janice is a recognizable face reporting on entertainment-related events from Hollywood to New York to Toronto. She has worked on the red carpet at the Oscars on numerous occasions and also covers music, theatre, film, fashion and food related stories. Janice lists Gene Hackman, Mel Gibson, Tom Hanks and many of the musicians she has interviewed at the John Labatt Centre as her most memorable. She is especially proud of the series she produced on the local Colombian Community.

Janice is a supporter of the arts, enjoying theatre not only in New York and Toronto but also in Stratford, at the Shaw Festival in Niagara-On-The-Lake and here in London. Janice also enjoys movies and is a supporter of Canadian fashion designers.

Janice is proud of her association with the Women of Excellence Awards for the Y, Western Reads and the Run for Ovarian Cancer. She is honorary chair and emcee of the annual fundraiser for Museum London. She and her husband Mark have a son and a daughter -- Joshua and Hannah.
