Instant Star explores the fantasy of being a celebrity singer; or more specifically, the feeling of being a star while keeping both feet on the ground. The series delights as much in the adventures of a gorgeous and talented young celebrity as the audience does. Anything goes, in the exciting, behind-the-scenes music world Jude lives in.

And the show's visuals are inspired by its star-born heroine -- they're rockin', stylish and full of youthful attitude. The series continues to take many of its cues from the music videos devoured by its audience, complete with a high-energy feel and high definition look. Jude's fast-paced life in the music business is highlighted by quick edits, gritty live performances, unusual angles and power montages. Her home life and emotional struggles tend to be shot in a more intimate fashion, with warm lighting, close-ups and fluid tracking.
